WeTransfer | "Back On 74"

WeTransfer x Jungle

Jungle was looking for a partner to produce a visual album for
their fourth record, VOLCANO. I was connected with them around the time I proactively
proposed a strategy for how WeTransfer could partner with artists to release exclusive content,
helping the company evolve from a file sharing platform to a distribution platform for creators.

Out of those conversations came this campaign.

Part music video, part art gallery and part product demo, I pitched the idea for
this interactive video, which ultimately launched exclusively on WeTransfer.

The Interactive Music Video

BACK ON 74 was a single-take music video filled with art canvases. Viewers could peel art off the walls
in real time, adding it to their transfer box where it could then be downloaded.

Additionally, over 100 golden tickets for Jungle’s 2023 world tour were attached to specific pieces of art.

This idea required a bespoke and first-of-its-kind video player.
Our in-house creative team, along with Nexus Studios, developed a custom video player
from scratch, which was then integrated into WeTransfer.

The Artwork

J. Loyd, from Jungle, created over 10,000 unique pieces of art.
Six different pieces were placed in the video each time it loaded,
creating a unique music video experience every time you watched it.

Leading up to release of Back On 74, Jungle and WeTransfer hyped the release on social.

WeTransfer produced all 14 single-take music videos that worked together
